I'm Wondering if theres in easier way to kill a unit if he steps off the path besides regions Plz Help

Give the unit lots of negative health regen only on blight and coat the outside of the path with blight?

make a tower that has minimum range of the region.as the model put none itle be a zone indicator and make the tower do 9000000000000000000000000000 damage. Ive done it before
