Custom Shadows

In the warchasermaps u see those big shadows, even cliffs have shadows there but if I copy a piece of the terrain it doesnt pick the shadows. Its also unselectable with doodads, units so how they did that???
I really need it

haha

Look in object editor,

Look for:
Art-Shadow Art- or something like that, and pick a shadow.
~good luck with ur map!!

no, its not that, cuz the shadows are really big and when u move the doodad the shadow stays. :?
Open the warchasers map and u'll c, thnx anyway

It's easier than you think: Just go to the File-Menu and choose "compute shadows and save" or something like that. Then, all shadows of terrain and doodads with the "has a shadow" option in the object editor enabled get a shadow and the shadow map is saved in the map file. It won't change until you save again with computing shadows.

Thnx alot :!:
1 more question: Does it also make the map bigger or let it run slower?

I'm sorry, but I don't know. I think it makes it a little bigger, but not slower, because it's static on the terrain and not on units or other doodads, so it doesn't change during gameplay.
Try it out! :?
