Photoshop 7 or Cs

Well I have both Photoshop 7 and Photoshop CS and i don't know which one is better. At the moment I have Photoshop CS and I'v been looking for the smudge tool for a while. So im thinking CS doesn't have it and Photoshop 7 does.

So please let me know which tool is more usefull for skining, and drawing.

hmm..i use c2 for alpha nad i use psp for skinnin. i suggest the c2 or c watever it is.
