Finding Paths with w3 viewer

I am having trouble finding the function in w3viwer that shows the skins paths, I have read therough the faq's and it does not mention it.

Shit, I can't find the path for the spirit walker, I have tried using seacrh by doing units\orc and could not find anything. Can you please tell me how to locate expansion units?

There is an option somewhere in the toolbar called remap textures which will display the path for even custom models.

This is remap spewed out,"C:\Documents and Settings\Joe\Skins\NecroSpiritWalker\NecroSpiritWalker.bld". I am not stupid enought to think that this is the friggen path... Gaa so close to screwing skins because I have never got a single one too work......

this is very simple to do;

1- Extract the MDX file
2- Open it with Word/Note pad
3- Search for the patch in the random symbols (it will be in real words) Ex: Undead/Ghoul/Ghoul.blp or Textures/Ghoul.blp
4-Search and extract .blp file

use wc3viewer's open MPQ option. you can open the wc3x.mpq to find the expansion units.

that may work also... im on a mac and thats what i do... i cant use wc3 viewer

Ok I followed the instructions, but the skin did not apply, if you can could you post the path for the skin here? Its the Necro spirit walker. thanks.

Because I have been having the same problem with all skins, now I am just fed up and the only skin I really want to use anymore is this one.

Edit: YESSSSSS I got it to work All I had to do was put tauren infront of it. Thanks for all the fish!
