This is a model viewer/editor for Warcraft 3 models (mdl/mdx).
See the included help-file for more information.

i can't get this to work , do u have to extract it to a custom folder in the wc3 directory? i always get the error messege unable to open when i try to open the war3modeledit.exe. some help plz. has anyone made it work?

Edit: after messing around with it a bit, now i get this error messege:

your system does not support positional lights :(

what does this mean, this looked like such a good program too, plz help :?

wow this is an excelent tool. It mixes all what u migth need to modify models!! and it even has an md2 importer. Congrats ^^

WOW I hav just teste it. DUDE U A AMAZING. This is the most usefull thing, it display particles correct!. This is trully the ultimate model viewer n editor. IT EVEN HAV A CAMERA EDITOR!!! :o

Version 1.01 is uploaded!

I removed the positional light test so redownload and try again. Let me know if it still gives an error. I also added an MS3D (Milkshape) importer.

i hate my comp :evil:

now it says

"your system does not support back buffers in the X8R8G8B8 format!"

what ever that means, arggggg

The Milkshape importer has been updated, the imported models are now properly rotated!

it finally works, thx magos, i dont know what u did but thx, this tool is very usefull, its like a wc3 vierwer with way more options....gj

This is a great tool, and the help file included is very detailed.

I would reccomend uploading the tool to the tools section because most users don't visit this forum.

How do u actually edit models with this, for some reason the help me files wont open for me :shock: ...but if anyone knows how to this plz post, also , when i open a model, the edit model property is in grey, why is that :?

It's gray simply because it's not implemented yet. Making a geoset-model editor is not an easy task so it will require some more work/time.
