Model Footprints

Hi! I have created a new model and I would like to make it left footprints in the terrain according to the shape of the foot of my new unit.
This is a screenshot of my unit:

I think you need to make a plane under the foot of your model and skin it to look like it. Then on the skin alpha everything beside the "border" of the foot, lower opacity with animation time.

It is important that you don't make the footstep with the model, it MUST be attached to the foot.

Thank you very Much

Lol!

If yuo want to make your own footprints, extract an existing one and edit it. OR just make it, and overwrite the path of an existing footprint. You can't realy edit the listfiles unles you make a mod, so you have to use an existing model path.

I think the appearance of the footprint is a skin not sure though :?.
