WAV to MP3

WAV to MP3

Does anyone know of a good free program that can be downloaded which converts WAV files to MP3 files? I'm working on a map that has a lot of custom sound files in it (yes, they're necessary for this map) but they're all WAV files which take up a ton of space. If anyone knows of a program please tell me.

well, for example nero-burning rom can do this quite easy. u sure have this if you have windows...

I have used Google but all it gives me are sites with free trials where it won't let me convert the large number of files I need to convert. And I do have Windows but I haven't seen anything called "nero-burning rom."
