Importing mp3

I have this awesome music I was going to import into a map, and it started out as an ogg. So I got a converter and converted it to mp3 and imported it into the map. However, it says the play time is 00:00.000 and when I try to play it from sound editor, it says "This does not appear to be a valid sound file." It won't play in-game either. What's wrong with it?

maybe ur music was a special type of file?

I know it was an mp3 because World Editor can only import mp3s and wavs. So it imported but didn't work.

Search for Ogg converter in google. It helps by converting mp3 and wav files

That's what I did...

Open the ogg file and dont play it yet. Go into Start > All programs > Accessories > Entertainment > Sound Recorder. Then hit the record button and just play the ogg file, and save it as a .wav. Easy yes?

NO, it isn't.

First you must set waveOut as microphone input.

And sound recorder stops recording after 60 seconds I think.

Sound recorder only records for 60 seconds, this song is 95 seconds.

Where/how do I do this?

Then use Nero Wave Editor.
