how do i put a picture on the mini map? i know this has been posted b4 but i cant find any post about it...

ahh ya qwerty that didnt help anyone.. he asked to import a pic 2 the mini map bit a unit or module...

Ok the minimap image has to be either 128x128 or 256x256 (if 256x256 doesnt work then try 128x12 it has to be a .tga and when you import it the path should be war3mapPreview.tga.

my image is (JPEG) its wall papers but i can make them smaller how do i change it to tga?
as soon as i get this done ill post my frist map lol

Download irfvanView. It's in the tools section, after opening your image with it select save as and save it as a TGA.

then after u import it how do u open it in WE

You don't have to open it, as long as the path is war3mapPreview.tga it will be your minimap image. To test this look at your minimap icon in warcraft.
