I just noticed searching through the models, their is no "mimic" treasure chest. It would be cool if someone made one, heres what i see a mimic as:
A seemingly ordianary treasure chest, but dont get to close, for under the lid, the chest conseals razer-sharp teeth, and two powerful arms (Coincidentaly the arms are used to walk)
Stand (Just your everyday tresure chest, should be closed) Stand - Defend (Shows the chest springing to life) Attack - 1 (The chest needs some arms, but the attack would be a bite motion) Attack - 2 (The chest whacks the unit with an arm) Spell (Chest closses, then pops open quickly) Walk (The mimic walks with its arms, as if they were legs) Walk - Defend (The mimic walks with its arms, in a closed state) Death (The mimic closes and spins, shrinking)
That would be a sweet model, if anyone cares to make it... .
The mimic is also a creature in the game "Nox"... Except that it's a giant beetly thing with one eye and massive pincers that changes into a treasure chest.
But yes, I'd swear the hopping chest does exist somewhere... Gets used in RotD, if I remember correctly, so it's bound to be in here.
The mimic isn't specific to one game I've seen it at least 23 I've played. Anyones I couldn't find an attackign chest model also and i also think it would be very useful and fun for map makers to use.
