I was bored so I looked in the memberlist how many users never have posted anything, well guess what... There are LITTERLY thousends of users who NEVER posted anything in the forums, almost ten thousend!!!! currently 9497 to be exact.
I'm not saying it's bad that wc3sear.ch has so many members that don't do anything, but I was just really suprized by the gigantic number of inactive users.

Every time someone does a member search, 10,000 useless fields are included.
but keep in mind that not all of those users that dont post anything in the forum, may have a number of comments on resources, or made resources themselves.
Well, you have to be a member to upload things as well. Many MANY people just make an account to upload a resource to 2 then be on their way. Also, that member list doesnt show comments. Many people comment, but do not post. -VGsatomi
I know someone that made like 5-6 accounts on wc3search to upload diferent stuff as he has forgot his old account name (he changes alot) each time he needs to upload something again
…I’m fairly new to the forums, and I’ve attempted to search for something worth posting to, and I’ve yet to find anything.(which ties into why I’m posting here…)
I joined mainly to download any new maps or updated versions. I make a lot of PM’s to map makers to give ideas & advise as well as information on bugs/problems…but as far as openly posting on threads…none seem worth it.
Make more interesting topics to get people to speak up, or simply don’t worry about it I suppose…just because I don’t post very much dose not mean I don’t come to this forum a lot or use it to find what I need.(being a active member behind the scenes I suppose you could say---which probably a lot of those other members that don’t post a lot do as well)
