A question about Skins - - - - NO TEAM COLOR !?!?!?

Many of the skins that I've downloaded from this site don't have a team color when applied to units. Why is that happening and can this problem be fixed?

Those skins either have no alpha channel, or the model has no team colour layer.

You could alpha areas you want to show teamcolour - but that depends on what parts of the model have TC layers.

I don't think this will be useful to me. I'm using Adobe Photoshop!

Not all parts are configured for alpha. But alphaing is really easy in Photoshop. On the layers window, find the section header called alpha....now alpha it and save as a bmp.

100% black is 100%s olid teamcolor,
100% white is 0% teamcolor.

Use different shades of white/grey/black for highlights/ midtones/shadows to get good-looking teamcolor.

Also, I would save it as a .tga (Targa) rather than .bmp.. but I guess that´s different from person to person.

I can't save a TGA with alpha so I have to use bmp.

Really? What version do you use? 7 or older?
