Question about Zipping up a file

How do I zip up a file? I made a loading screen picture, and I'd like to post it, but I dont know how to zip files.

If someone could tell me, I'd really appreciate it

Buy winzip or download their trial version (which you can still use after the expire date). Right click on your desktop> new> winzip file. Then drag your file into the new winzip file that was created.

You can try WinRAR or PowerArchiver aswell

windows xp handles zipping and unzipping files

Okay, I zipped it up and then added it to my resouce thing

And it still says that there are no skins that I've submitted

Does it have to go through and be approved before it gets placed in the site or did I just do something wrong? I wanna know before I try again and then end up with several of the same thing on the site, lol

nonono, you dont need to make a zip archive out of files you want to upload to the site. the site will do it itself. just upload the image.

Then do I upload the 2 parts separate from eachother?

There are 2 parts to it:
LoadingScreen.mdx
%Footman.blp

The %Footman.blp is the actual image and the loadingscreen is whats needed to use it, Which I'm sure you already knew

Upload the mdx-file. The system should ask for the blp-file then.
