I make models but cant skin cant animate

I can make decent models but I have mac and can't animate or skin properly ALSO to make problems worse I can only export in obj so if someone could help or would be nice enough to animate , skin or convert models for me it would be appreciated

are you using Blender? as a fellow mac user, i demand to know.

no sorry I don't know what blender is besides a kitchen untincil but i am useing a 200 dollar program called Poser 6 which only exports in obj : / it also does animations but its very comfusing
