I try sinse 5 hours to download maps, but when i go to the link maps, my browser say done...

Press refresh... *sighn* I think there is a serious need for a sicky post about this.

we believe this problem has to do with the fact that we lost wc3campaigns. some users will have trouble with accessing the maps section.

We're tired of repeating this, I don't think we need a sticky. VGsatomi talked about this already.

It really does not create a solution.

I have the "map" link problem. I cannot enter the map section. It shows only the upper general navigation bar.

The map section is the ONLY section of wc3sear.ch that will not let me browse it's contents.

Troubleshooting:

-Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer.
-3 Computers, with different connections and OS'.
-To refresh. As you tell me to.
-Navigated through the forum, and realized i am not alone with this problem. Also tried all possible solutions given, without success.
-Removed cookies, if they have saved some info, that is blocking me from entering.

*note* That every other non map-related link works just fine for me.

I think this should be a sticky, when its such a common bug/error whatever.

or you can

refresh, clear cookies, clear history, clear registry, etc even virus scan (i dont think that would do much to the effect but meh) stuff like this might just help so look through the topics there are many topic on this exact problem GOT IT research doesnt hurt anyone.

Removing the cookies wont solve the problem. You need to turn them off completely...at least as long as you are browsing the resouces. You will need them back on if you wish to post, comment or submit.

yeah, if u sue fire fox, go
privacy>cookies>allow(untick)sites to set cookies
and for IE just put your cookie bar at max disallow.
but i dont go to the map section much..
so yeah..but it does take ages with cookies and uncleaned stuff.

I think I know what the problems is. Before I installed Norton Anti-Virus, I used MCafee, and there was no problem. But after i installed Norton Anti-Virus, I cant enter the map section. But if i disable Norton, it works.
