Campaign Maps

I have heard from many, that you can access Blizzard's original scenario maps from the Single Player Campaign. Can anyone confirm this and if so, how can I access them. It would really improve my editing skills.

Open the war3.mpq or war3x.mpq, with WinMPQ, and extraxct the singleplayer campaign maps. You can download WinMPQ in the tools section.

It was able to dl from the campaign section, but after WC3Campaigns died, the links of half of this site's resources were broken. And the links of those campaigns are still not fixed. So u must ask him to fic the links and dl the campaigns.

Get a MPQ editor (MPQEditor, WinMPQ, or either the internal one in Magos' model editor).

For RoC campaign: maps are stored in Maps\Campaign\ directory in war3.mpq archive.

For TFT campaign: maps are storen in Maps\FrozenThrone\Campaign\ directory in War3xLocal.mpq archive.

All you need is to extract maps from MPQ archive.
