Make sure the file its self is names correctly. I noticed the name of the skin you linked to was named "icemage." Simply having the correct path wont work there. The name of the file has to match what is shown in the file path. So rename it to "herobloodelf.blp" before importing.
As for the missing link problem, about half the skins downloads are currently down. That will be fixed. -VGsatomi
just curius how long till they'll prob be fixed? as for the name of the skin I am not sure if I undertsood u right but I changed the name of the skin to match the path and still nothing{yes I restarted the editor}
if anyone has any idea what I have to do to remove the flames from the stone beast{the real skin doesn't have em} that'd help too.
o and the werewolf thing is still messed up I don't think it's the url though. I dled it fine but it's head is missing and it's colors keeping leaking into the map. I ahve heard if u reDL it a few times evenetually it will work with some skins/models...is that true>? I reDLed it like 8 times and a few were a bit different.
still can't get any of this to work should i'll try re'dling the werewolf model a few more times when i get a chance but otherwise have no clue whats wrong.
3) Its because the particles (flames in this case) and references to skins they use are in the model, so by changing only model skin you can't manipulate particles. You have to edit the Infernal's model if you want to change the praticle emitters.

hmm but the skin is well a skin and it doesn't have the fire...maybe they put some modelwork into it too and because the url is broke i didn't get them... sooo anyone know when the links will prob be fixed?
my biggest problem is that damn werewolf...when I get a chance i'll try re'dling it a few more times and see if it works.
aww it looks great without the fire.... would it take alot of memory to take out the flames using magos's editor and then reimport it?{my map is like 3 megs big} yes I kow the loading time for a map that big... I am making 1 with all the models for the patient ppl...like me most of the time and 1 with only the neccesary 1's{about 1-1.5 megs} for the impatient or ppl without time to wait hehe.
I imagine removing particle emitters is easy{based on the last time I looked at the editor at least} am I wrong?
