The origin of the Internet
Internet was founded by Paul Baran in 1962 for needs of US airforce. He researched possibilities of controlling security systems in case of nuclear attack. Base of classical system of communication was a control center that is connected with periferial stations. With destruction of control center, the stations would be useless, so Paul suggested canceling of that system and forming independant control centers that can provide contact even if one of them is destroyed. Practically, that is a link of all centers. Of course, that is simple to draw, but try to think about the problem that happened when great distances were needed to link together. In October 1967 there were 16 research groups linked together with computer net ARPANET. Net was called by Advanced Research Projects Agency, shortened ARPA, that was founded by US goverment. It finansiated scientific projects for few universities in America. Until the end of 1970, a standard for communication was created by ARPANET and 23 computers was online.

After 2 years ARPANET had 23 knuts, and in June 1972 a download protocol was established. The first programs for E-Mail were scripted by Ray Tomlinson. In 1973 ARPANET grows in international net. With American computers they were connected to London University and King radar tower from Norway. Term "Internet" was spoken first time in 1974 by Vinton Cerf and Bob Kahn in their work "Transmision Control Protocol" or TCP. Then 63 computers were online.Because of that high number of computers online (for that time) and problem with adressing system functions, the coordinating functions were kicked from TCP.
