98 plus tools? windows xp and 2000 do not have

Don't worry about what system you have. When it says Windows XP, most of the time it works on any Windows type platform. I haven't tryed any that don't (but I havent tred all of them, so I'm not 100% sure).

I don't think you need the use of tools yet, they are abit more advanced for skilled map makers such as me.

Here's a random thing I discoverd ages ago

Windows XP and NT aren't DOS based like... every other Windows platform. They use their own thing... So stuff that works on XP might not work on 98 and vice versa.

If it works on ME, it'll work on 98 though

I used to use ME, and everything that I tried worked, so I they should work on any Windows platform.

Advice to newbies: Try to experiment with different kinds of ideas. That way you'll be able to find out what type of map you're best at making
