My Tiny Little Problem with Projectiles.....

OK; I'm currently creating a map where it is possible to dodge an incoming projectile. I've done everything I can think of, but for some reason the projectiles still cause damage when they "Miss". I've chnged the missile homing button because that, I thought, was all that needed changing. I' a little stuck now, so any help you can give is GREATLY appreciated. So to cut a long story short:

Need way to stop projectiles doing harm when they miss

Easy :)

Just make a evasion skill and put it on every unit that should be able to dodge attacks :)

I'm pretty sure if you change the missile type from 'Missile' to 'Artillary' you can dodge the projectile by moving out of the way. Besure to set damage Area of Effect tho

I believe all you need to do is just change the attack type (or whatever it's called) to siege. I had this problem before and artillery didn't do the trick. Not exactly sure what artillery even does..

in gameplay constants go under the "Combat" section. There you will find something called "Missed Attack Damage Factor", set that to 0. There you go!

WOW! Thanks everyone. I think I'll try all of those in reverse order :)

I'm pretty sure one of them'll work.....

EDIT: OK I've done it and I think it was a combination of the last one and the second one. So special thankyou to them and normal thankyou (is still good) to everyone else for helping me. :D

Heh. Siege worked for me. Good luck on your map, Siridion! :)
