animation difficulites

hi all i found out the camera problem i had before but i am starting to make a animation sequence involving slow motion & stuff like that. The problem is when i use the action set unit's movement or animation speed to something like 1% it doesn't work. Why and how can i make them liek frezze at a certain spot in battle so i have enough time to rotate the camera so and then make the person blink away from the attack when it unfreezes.

I had that problem to, u probably play the cinematic in map initilization? then some functions wont work

just use trigger - run '....' (the cinematic)
#3
what do you meen Ramza by the run trigger? Anyway i made a seperate section for cinematics and the animations all in one trigger. And it's not map installation
#4
k, that trigger u made shoul not be initially on and no event. at map initialization put a function:
Trigger - Run 'that trigger' (doesnt matter which of the two if the trigger doesnt have conditions)
#5
oh no not good. This sounds expert to me. I only know how to make triggers with events work. Plus i made a new map installation folder just called Installation. I'm not good at conditions as well so i guess making my campaign won't be as easy. I am lucky that it only starts with the cinemac. I know i spelled it wrong i forgot how to. Can you tell me how i can do it in a easy way?
#6
that IS the easy way, there is no other way :P
what do u mean with ''not good with conditions''? u dunno what they mean?
if u have question about them ask em :)
#7
well first of all i don't know how the hell to use conditions & why they're useful as well as variables.
#8
I dont know what u mean excactly, u mean u dont know what they do or sumthing?

and why they're useful as well as variables?? what do u mean with that??
#9
ok let me talk smart here

The thing is i don't know the purpose and capabilities of both conditions and variables. I also don't know how to use them the proper way to make a trigger work.

oh and i tryed making a new trigger in the game folder as i called it in the animation cinematic and with no events and i just made the action

Animation- Change grunt 2019's animation speed to 1% of it's original speed

i used grunt as an example because i won't spoil the campaign  but i have that one action in there and when i plan to make his attack slower i use the action turn on animation trigger. It's pretty hard to do.[/url]

U use conditions so the event will get 'smaller' like only player 1's units get the actions in a trigger

a variable saves sumthing. so if u for example create a unit with a trigger u set that as a variable cuz u need it to do actions later. u cant give actions to a unit that doesnt exzcist yet right :P

PS: U must not Turn the trigger on, but Run it, its beneath the 'turn on' function

i used run trigger ignoreing conditions but it didn't work. And if you got confused the trigger for the slow attack rate has only that 1 action
#12
that doesnt matter. I dont know who it wont work. u do something wrong i think

Events:
Map initiliazation
Conditions:
-------
Actions:
Trigger - Run 'the trigger for the cinematic or slow stuff'
