I'm helping my friend with triggers on a new Map with alot of models

A cop-out answer perhaps, but...As many as you need. And no more.

Depends if it is single player or multiplayer. Single player I have dozens, maybe up to 50. Multplayer, the most I'd have would be a dozen or so if their file size is small. Less if their size is larger.But along the lines of what Lord said, however many or however little it takes to get the effect you want.
