Using 2 skins for a model

Is it possible to have two units with same model but differnet skins?

Like i have the WoW trex model
I have the original green skin

How can i have two trexes, one trex with the brown skin and the other with the green one?

It's not possible. But you can easily edit the model, import it two times and use it. Just do the following:
-Use War3FileConverter (in Tools section) to convert the model to MDL
-open it with text editor and change the path of the skin, save
-rename and convert it back to MDX again using War3FileConverter
Now you have two models which are actually the same, only have two different skins.

You can handle the MDL like any .txt file. Just use the Editor or WordPad from Windows.
