Moderation History

Over the past couple of years with wc3search there has been alot of moderators, but when looking now there is not that many "old timers" left, what happened to all of these people?

One I would really like to know why left was Sopho :)

They probably get some type of moderator stress disorder. I mean they do have to deal with a lot of idiots.

Where has Leopard been hiding?
#3
as far as I know Mecheon is one of the oldest mods here.

Sopho left because his brother would no longer let him use his computer (or something like that), and uninstalled WC3. So basically it was stuff beyond his control.

What a sad reason to leave, crappy brother to have :?

Some mods just disappeared and didn't tell about the reasons for it, but I'm sure they had their reasons for not loggin on anymore.
#7
Yeah, what about Konblade? What happened to him?

I am no longer being so active because life became a little bit more busy for me. When I became a mod, I had tons of time, and practically nothing to do. But in the meantime, things changed.

So yes, with this thread I would like to apologize for no longer being so active. In truth, if I really wanted, I could get time for wc3sear.ch but I'm no longer so enthusiatic anymore. I'm not saying that I don't care about it, or else I would've already left. It's just that I changed a lot, and so did my orientations.

But I will keep watching upon the icons and spells sections and ensure that rulebreaking does not get out of control.

Also, if I ever leave, I will let you know, instead of simply not logging in anymore.

Well.. Why did you leave seagull, wasent it because you got obcessed by WoW? :P
#12
No. It was not because he was obsessed with WoW.

Haha, I'm falling victim to its sneaky tentacles, but I won't leave you guys completely until im atleast 13 ;)

A lot of people also seem to be leaving because Darky isn't active anymore, if he was he can fix all the bugs and improve the site... but alas :(

Olof, I believe I have told you this before.

Darky
is
active
when
we
tell
him
to
be. Veggie or some other membor of the mod team tells me something to tell him. I log on WoW and start nagging.

There are no bugs that will beseech impending doom on us if not fixed within 7 days. If we need him to do something, he will get off his ass and do it. Unless it requires too much thought or work. Then he will sit on his ass and play WoW.

Take for example our warning system. WE DON'T HAVE ONE.

But no one go all pessimistic for no reason. He is not dead.

And slip me the name of one atleast semi-respected member of this site that has left BECAUSE, and he has said BECAUSE, of Darky's absence.
