Who do you make a model?

Could anyone give me a detailed explanation of how to make a model?

Read some tutorials either on wc3campaigns or the company who designed the modelling program's website.
Of course, you'll need a modelling program.

The warcraft 3 tools for 3Dmax comes with it's own tutorial, but it talks as if you already have full knowledge of 3Dmax....

3ds Studio Max is very hard to learn. I suggest something more easy.
