is there any program that i can make models without paying for it?? (besides vertex modifier) or any trials that i can use instead

try gmax from turbosquid. Its free but confusing

It is good program, but I hate the importer, which screws animations of models (like Blizzard's) made in 3ds max or even doesn't open them (some models on this site, eg. Starcraft models).
