Timer windows with text and no timer?

How can you create a timer window but with only text.
To show your stats for example (making FPS).

I think you can do it with multiboard, but I have no further experiences with these things. I recommend you to look at Blizzard's "Azeroth Grand Prix".
... or wait for someone knowing more than me!

Yeah, that's what I did, but it didn't show anything. But I just found a function that says:
-Multiboard - Show (Last created multiboard)
-Multiboard - Set the display style for (Last created multiboard) item in column 1, row 1 to Show text and Show icons
That could do it.
