Non-3ds max animation

Hey, I've started putting out models, but they're crap. Antways, I wanna know if there is another program beside 3ds max and oinkerwinkles Notetrack that I can use to animate models. I already tried gmax, and it screws up he animations to much, and I don't think I can get milkshape again. Any help, please?

...Yes I know I'm a noob.

Milkshape can do it, albiet with work, and Gmax can do it, albiet buggy as hell

That's about it until Oinker or someone makes a program that can do it

Milkshape is easy, just have to watch out with chains of bones and dodgy rotation.

Why do you say you don't think you can get it again?

It is better gmax or milkshape for making animations?

Well, you guys helped a little. I said I don't think I can get milkshape again because I downloaded a free trial and its up.

But, who do you animate in milkshape? I always just got the geometry, no bones or animations.

There's plenty of tutorials on the Milkshape website that can explain animation far better than I.

And to buy it's only $20 or so, that's a damn fine price for what you get.

Isn't it free?

Nah, only a free trial for 30 days. But the price is worth it.
