Attachment Problems

Ok, I have an item thats named "Torch" .. and well .. its a torch. It gives a damage bonus and immolation but, I want the unit thats carrying the torch to actually be holding it. I set the items attachment point to weapon,left and the target art to the torch glowing doodad. When i grab the torch ... no attachment. What am i doing wrong?

"weapon" is only an attachment point for heroes i believe

use "hand left" or "left hand"

at least thats my first gut guess at the solution

That should get it right. Weapon isnt an attachment i thought
