How to get the ancient protector's alternate model

How to get the ancient protector's alternate model

I'd like to create an alternate form unit for a ground unit based on ancient protector, for a morph ability. Does anyone know how to access the protector's rooted model without the use of the root ability?
Also, I'd like to know the animation name for the rooting animation.
Any help would be appreciated.
