Attachment Help?

Attachment Help?

Um....I am kinda new to WC3 customizing and i cant seem to find out how to Add Downloaded Attachments to a Unit.
Any help would be.....Helpful? :D[/b]

yes, kind of :P but i dont mind

use the function: special effect - create special effect on unit or point

or a sphere based spell with ur imported targets

Im starting to write a tutorial on it...for now, ill just respond

The attachment points are:

hand
right

This equals right hand
__________________________________________________

hand
left

This equals left hand
__________________________________________________

head

Obviously, the head
__________________________________________________

chest

another obvious one.
__________________________________________________

origin

I recall it being the same as chest, though it may be the feet, please tell, im having dificulty myself with that one.

Origin is at the height point of a unit i.e a ground unit will have it's origin on the ground and a flying unit it's middle area.

Indigo Operator is correct. Origin is the attachment point for auras, and a few other things.

There is a sticky on basic model attachment. Please see the --READ ME BEFORE POSTING-- sticky. Ironic.

Deaddognogowoof, I already learned. I posted the whole tutorial on wc3anvil.net. And im making edits to it, ok!? Yes, I learned origin is the aura attachment. People dont have to tell me 3 times!

No need to freak out, dude. There could have still been confusion since two conflicting facts were stated in the thread, and I simply used my authoritah to clear it up.

What's with all this attachment stuff lately? I don't think there needs to be a TUT about it. Note though, that things attached to head will rotate when the respective bone rotates, but overhead doesn't.
