Ive made enemy creeps run to a certain region. When I run my creeps up against them, i want the enemy to start attacking my creeps and stop running to the region, then once theyre out of a certain range (if my creeps run away) i want the enemy creeps to continue to the original region. please help.

I think u need to make them attack-move to that region.
They will start running there and if they spot enemies they will attack.

Yes just a basic attack-move instead of just move. It should be that simple
