How do you use skins

how do you use skins in maps and how do you import them? i have not tryed but i can import models but i don't get how you use skins, can someone plz tell me???

try before you ask, if you try and if you can't get it to work after you've tried everytihng you can think of, then ask questions.
and there are lots of tutorials that can explain it.

i just read a tutorial on skinning but... which one is the path file... like with black stan's shandris skin... i dunno which path to use
