TUTORIAL - Humanoid from scratch

I have been lookig everywhere, but I can't find how to make a decent humanoid from scratch... is that because I suck? I don't know, any help here would be nice, to be able to create my own army of ozzie osbournes... btw, I want to do my modelling myself, but i cant find tutorial, so please don't go and make a model for me, or atleast document how you made it every single step, so i can follow, and try make my own.

what modeling programm do u have? if u have 3d studio max 5 (or 4 i think will work as well) try wc3campaigns.net, and go to their tutorial section. they have some modeling tutorials. if ur a beginner u cant just jump into a full on body. learn to make parts first like the chest or arms, and get familiar with the program.

other wise just google for tutorials for what ever program u ahve

yea, i hav max 5, but wc3campaigns is down half the time :S EDIT: just searched wc3campaigns, closest tutorial to what i want is how to make a torsoe-like thing in low polys (which i have done only slightly past the explination), even if you search in the modeling tutorial section for "arm" it doesn't come up with anything... and I tried googling... most models 3k polys + wheras I believe i need mine between 400 and 800
