Spell Icon Doesnt Show

Spell Icon Doesnt Show

Hi all, ive created a speel based of phoenix fire, and when i select the spell the icon doesnt appear on the hero's spell "list" bit. I have a research icon etc etc its not the problem where i get a green blank box i get nothing at all to show i have learnt the skill, but it still works as it is passive, like phoneix fire is. I dunno if this makes sense but if anyone has any ideas please let me know what to try, thanks in advance!

certain spells dont show. you have to create a dummy ability that DOES show and add it using triggers

ok, so how would i go about creating a dummy and linking it with triggers then? thanks

Unit Lears A Skill

Skill Equal to ( your dummy ability )

if level of ( dummy abil ) equal to 1
Add ( your ability ) to Learning Unit
else
set level of ( your ability ) for Triggering Unit to level of ( dummy abil ) for Triggering Unit
