Alighty that got your attention didn't it? I am having trouble exporting models to MDX form. I downloaded the gmax modeling pack done wonderfully by oz02, and was able to import models, but expoting them... Different story. It comes up as a message that reads: -- Runtime errer: Feature not available: "fopen write mode"
I would like to be able to use this program for this site, so if anyone wants to help... Please do so! --donut3.5--
But then when I open it and click Export to File, it says gmax users must use write to memory or print to listener. When I do write to memory, it says "Feature not implemented yet." and write to listener doesn't export the file... any solutions? --donut3.5--
Heh I know I sound like a stupid noob by saying this... but where's the listener for me to copy everything from, and then where do I paste it into? Oh and another thing about gmax... for some reason warcraft models play really weird when I import them into it... They like do flips while standing, their legs go into very painful looking postitions while walking... --donut3.5--
Paste to a text document, save as MDL, then convert to MDX. About strange animations. This is because the import script is buggy and useless for editing existing animations. However, for some simple model, such RDZ models, the animation is not screwed.
Wheres the listener though? And about the odd anims... is there any way I make new anims for that unit, or will I have to import the unit as a animationless unit, then remake all of them? --donut3.5--
OOOh... It ALMOST WORKED! I found the listener, copied everything in it to a Notepad Document, then saved as Ring.mdl (Ring is the name of my model, it's kinda mainly a test model). But then, neither Magos nor War3 File Converter could open it! Why? --donut3.5--
