Yes, using WoW models is illegal, but Blizzard wouldn't sue you. It is being used in the context of one of its other games, and therefore is not losing money; if anything, Blizzard would support it as it may promote playing Warcraft III. If someone were mentally retarded, made a game using WoW models, and put it on the market, that's when Blizzard would kick in.#4
