MY SKINS APPEAR BLANK!!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, so when I try to import a downloaded or blizzard-made skin, they appear normally. But, when I try to make my own, (and yes I did all of the .blp to .tga to .blp again stuff) they appear blank in the editor, even after restarting World Editor! Please help me fix this!

what do you mean blank? like invisible? did you touch the alpha channel in anyway? did you even save the alpha channel?

When I say blank, I mean they are there but cannot be read. For example, when I scribble on a Demon Hunter or Blademaster's face, the picture has my marks on it in every preview. But when I import it into the World Editor and put down the unit I scribbled on (after restarting it, of course) all I see is the glow for the hero, not the actual hero. Just a floating glow.

than something is wrong with the alpha channel of your skin. what program are you using to skin with?

I'm using Adobe Photoshop 7.0. The thing is, my friend is using the EXACT same program as me and doing the EXACT same steps as well, and his work.

i suggest upgrading your photoshop to 7.0.1 unless thats what you already have it at and download the .tga plugin from the adobe website. theres a bug with saving the alpha channels without it. good luck.
