I looked around and couldnt find any other topics about this so i posted my own.
I finished making a different dwarf model from the rifleman, its a dwarf with footman animations and a sword and shield, and slightly edited. I imported him, np there, I restart the editor and go back to object editor, go to a guy and try to assign it my model, as soon as i scroll of the model file while in the object editor, i the editor completely crashes.
There are innumerable little issues in an MDL that can make it crash the game/editor, and they are individual to each one. You're going to have to post an MDL for anyone to even have a chance of helping you.
No no no. Put the model file somewhere temporary, and link us to it here. With model crashes, there are hundreds of possible things that it would be impossible and/or just plain impractical to explain them all, and there's still more that we don't know about that need to be catered for. So put your mdl somewhere, link to it here, and we can take a look inside.
