OkLet me demonstrate/explain
Lets say i want to use one of the cool icons i find in this site and view it in a reply / topic sent to a forum (lets say Dota-allstars.com).But when i use the which is the command in such situations it simply doesnt work and in some cases it views the url but no icon.
Example:
But when i copy url from another site :
http://warcraft3.judgehype.com/screenshots/frozenthrone/objets/orboflightning.gif
You see my point?

What you just gave was a page link, you need the direct link to the picture for it to work.
