anyone know a way to a webserver/site

yo, i was wondering if anyone knows a good server or place i can make a website.
just to host my campaigns,art,models,sounds(legal),etc
iv heard of freewebs but they rip you off after a week and ask for money i hear...
also.. what progs allows you to make web pages?
netscape editor or somethin...
just wanting to know..nothin dire, so you dont have to answer.

i use www.fsphost.com (instant setup) thats good for a website, but im not sure if it will be what you want.

Now a web tool...Try Macromedia Dreamweaver or learning HTML or um microsoft front page (i think thats it), or just search for HTML programs in goodgle

Without me going into it too far heres some html code...

My friend used http://invisionfree.com/ for his site,thought thats kinda crappy

and maybe not what your lookin for

www.freewebs.com has never asked me to pay for my two sites.

Its been updated alot and has an easy to use GUI.

Ofcourse you will need to know html, I recommend using Dreamweaver and or AceHTML.

Or you can ask me for help im decent with html.

Not at all, it is alot easier then php (which i dont know how to do) the only problem is that you need to make sure you close the tags in the right place and put it in the right area.

And i dont like freewebs, its really bad!

awardspace has PHP and MySQL for free so you can set up a forum without any ads and configure it however you want.

Wow i dont know what you guys have against freewebs.

its very nice for people who dont *NEED* ftp access.
thats its only flaw. besides that its perfect, no ads, no nothing.

all you need to do then is grab a redirect.

Freewebs ist great but you guys are trying to make it seem horrid when ive been happy with the place for a long time.

Its fast, simple, and easy on the eyes.

the only ads on this site are the ones ive added.

bandwidth 500 mb only I have 3gb

space 40 mb we have 250 mb (I have 1 gb i think)... well ftp is useful... I don't know ^_^

iv made a site b4 ages ago..forgot it..proabably doesnt even work..but it had a monster encyclopedia thingy..
anyway, iv only used netscape or the web maker that comes with it...
