what kind of maps are DOTA maps or CTF maps?

I am wondering is there any player-made maps like DOTA or (if you played the orc campaign on TFT, where you had to kill pirate Proudmore), etc..

what category is it under?

you mean DotA?...its not DOTA or dota people...please..anyway that would be an AoS. as for CTF maps it would be described as an arena most likely.
