what are the consequences if i just copied the icons and pasted them some where else instead of downloading them? May i know what is the difference? Are both methods the same?

I am not sure I get your question, but if you mean like if you just say "save" picture from the preview then you will not get it in .blp format which is required for them to be usable ingame.

Unless you want to convert them to blp yourself, what is the problem with downloading them btw?

Thx for yr help. lol, i dont wana download them cause it takes quite alot of time and i want quite a number of them. Take years if i download them.

lol, sorry but i am new here. May i know what is the difference between BTN @ DISBTN icons? Which one is better? Is it only about the border difference?

BTN is the turned on icon, DISBTN is the turned off icon.

yes DIS stands for DISabled. if u dont have DISBTN icons u will c green squares when u press menu or anything

hmm...i am still a little confused. Can u explain a bit more about both types and thier functions? So i need both of them right?

It is simple, but I will explain it to you like I would to a 3 year old then.


BTN = Enabled.
Enabled = The icon when it has the grey metal border and the icon is in its normal colors.

DISBTN = Disabled.
Disabled = The icon without the grey metal border and the icon is darker than normal.

i thought DISBTN's had gray borders to. the icons without the gray borders are PASBTN or DISPASBTN icons

u should dl baumis (i think thaths his name ) icon editor, u have an option that turns the icon DISBTN in one click, rly handy cuz every DISBTN icons will have the same dark lvl

You are wrong. DISBTN has no border or you could say the metal border is replaced with black.

hmm.... i think i need to do abit of research on importing icons perfectly or u call it the right way.
