Unsubmergable terrain

Some terrain i'm working with can't be submerged. There is water right next to it, but when I lower the terrain, it creates a void of water to land. It makes blocks where land and water collide, and looks horrible, but I can't get rid of it.

Anybody know how to?

When you lower terain next to water it does not make it water due to water is an OVERLAY not a layer.

You first have to make water at the location then raise the terane, for good looking ponds I believe.

first make water, then put 2 high clkiffs on it and then lower the terrain where u did ur water
