Why do you then want to do it? Thats just dumb. If your first questions are so basic, then there is no way you would know how to do the rest. That would mean people helping u would have to do the whole td for u, and that aint fair, is it?
Start with a melee map, modifie the terrain and after months of training advance to triggered maps.
yea i c alot people that immedeately want to make a triggered map and dont even know how to create a unit.. i made 2 melee maps to, then my only triggered map which i made in 6 months. just open other maps and c how they did certain things, and dont just ask all that easy stuff before even watching to the trigger functions
events: create X units at 'spawnpoint rect u created' conditons: ----- actions: unit group - order last created unit group to move to 'region on the next curve'
events: unit enters 'the region on the curve' conditions: owner of triggering unit = player X actions: unit - order triggering unit to move to 'rect on next curve' etc
i came into wc3 mapping from starcraft mapping so i knew how to do a lot of stuff right after coming into it. but warcraft has so much more stuff tho that it's taken a while to adjust, look at the new things. honestly though, how to create a spawn point? just put a region somewhere then have it set up for every few seconds it creates a unit or two. that stuff is basic. i don't even remember how far back i learned to do that and i learned from STARCRAFT. =/ man... hey ramza, was it u i was having the conversation with about ppl just joining wc3search to ask rather simple questions?
