I have a small list of maps I wish to be created... Anyone can add their own list of maps they desire. This should give ideas to anyone wanting to make a map.
Kingdom Under Fire -(It would fit well into warcraft)
Soul Reaver -(I saw some models for soul reaver and would love to play a map based on the legacy of kain series)
Morrowind (huge rpg game)
Star wars battlefront(Conquering CPs should be involved)
Fable (I hope with some unique trigger that actually have light side and dark side points which change your character's appearance)
So far these are from the top of my head.....Anyone have any thoughts???
ORPG set in middle earth...though i don't suggest any of you try this. LotR games seem to be cursed and i wouldn't want anyone to spend months on a middle earth RPG only to find this out. (-.-)
lol.... morrowind xD if u want to make at least a packed version of morrowind u need over 1500 x 1500 space xD and people would get bored of it even if it'd be 450x450
fable... lol... unique triggers.. to make fable like game u need to make something like REAL LIFE FOR MORONZ same triggered but 8x bigger
well actually would be just great to have few... like two maps made off Spellforce... one map - orpg with lotsa LOOTSA quests and that unique game system... also skill system there just rocks... with save load system which works in both and 2nd map a PVP map in which u can use saves from the orpg and play fights against other players...
spellforce doesn't have a lot of spells so its not rlly hard to make.. abbility tree would make ppl play allover to take other abbilities instead and the Hero leveling system connected to baze making
IvanXlol.... morrowind xD if u want to make at least a packed version of morrowind u need over 1500 x 1500 space xD
There's two ways around this: 1) Via Campaign clusters, where leaving one area forces you to load the next map, thus allowing a huge map. 2) (Very long and hard) large string arrays that contain environment data. Well ok, so it might not work, but having a huge string array, then creating a few triggers to create a new terrain based on whats in the array... ok yeah just ignore this.
