are you gonna do the sword too?
#17
I think I may have the relevant model to do a sword, yes, even if you end up having to work it in through triggers. If worst comes to worst, a skinned Frostmourne might look the part. I'll have to see what I can do.

Good job gave them both a 5/5 ill eventually find something that i want you to do for the map ill eventually finish. since i read the last sentence of your last post, could you tweak the sword a liitle bit to have it be dark blue instead of black
it doesnt really matter but it would be nice

The change should hopefully be implemented now. Just redownload.

thx, do you have a link to a tutorial that tells me how to attach it?
#23
Off the top of my head, there's a simple trigger command, something like "Special Effect" Attach special effect to a specific unit, and attach the specified model to the unit's right hand or somesuch.

http://www.wc3sear.ch/viewtopic.php?t=1475

That contains some mention of the topic.

thx that help some oh and one more thing whats the path to the model "lame"
#25
Models use no paths, wc3imported works for the model, just the skin, which is textures\lame.blp If you mean finding it on the site, I suggest you just use the search facility in the model section.

You could do it yourself in the unit editor part, just set colour tinting for Red, Green, and Blue from 255 to somewhere around 10-20, you'll have a black phoenix.

did that.. but u can't see the details.. it's a bit annoyin...

Even if you did do a black phoenix it wouldn't look too good because its too dark...
