Models and Skins...

Hello, I am new to the forums. I didn't know where to post this so I decided to post it here, mods you can move to the correct section if it's in the wrong place. Well, I would like to know the difference between a model and a skin. As a sidenote, Heroic_Milkman, can you notify me when that normal cow model/skin/whatever it is is done? I was thinking of using it in a map if that's okay with you. (I'd give credit obviously.)

A model is the 'flesh and bone' of a unit. Inside its' data, all animations are contained. You need to edit in three dimensions to make custom models.

It's skin is what wraps around the model, giving it it's distinctive appearance. You need to edit in two dimensions to make custom skins.
