Does anyone own a turtle bcuz I have a question

um I have an aquatic turtle and I fed it cleaned maggots I found next to my house. I was wondering if this is O.K. I cleaned them soo.... is it ok?

the turtle should be fine, maggots are VERY high in protein, hell, people even eat them and use them in cheese.
