Map File too big

Ok everyone, i have this problem, i just can't seem to make my map work. whenever i try to do something, like adding a model, i get a "Map file too big" error. then when i go into the actual file it seems it is only like 486kb! Does anyone have any ideas to help

Thanks, Treeko11

Now that is odd i never had that happen to me and I have easily put 10 MB modles into a map to see what the modles looklike.

By the sound of it your hard drive is full.
Or its so fragmented its directery is taking up a redicoulous ammount of space.

Try deleting old junk you dont need and defragmenting your hard disk.

i hate to tell you but my hard drive is not full and i do not understand what else u said.
#4
are you by anychance using weu? -_-
#5
Well.. kinda really odd since the max kb is around 4000kb.

Like what Werewulf said, maybe u used Weu? Custom World Editors are not *that* guarenteed.

i use the world editor that comes with Wc3

hm... i dont know...sorry..
maybe try reinstalling wc3 or get a new WE ..except WEU(buggy as hell)

4mb is the restriction for multiplayer maps, singleplayer doesnt have one from what I know of
